MANAGEMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND AGROFOOD SECTOR IN MALAYSIA ANALYSIS OF MALAYSIA AGRICULTURE SECTOR 2010 – 2019

This research studies the agriculture and agrofood sector in Malaysia in the span of 10 years from 2010 until 2019 to analyze the trend of production in terms of capacity, quantity and value. Factors that was studied in this research was on economic performance which is the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of agriculture sector among other sectors, the population as they are the consumers of agricultural products that were produced, inflation and consumer price index (CPI) because consumer were affected, balance of trade (BoT) as the export and import factor plays a huge role in determining Gross Domestic Product (GDP) as an economic performance indicator, and productions of crops, livestock and fisheries in terms of capacity which is the planting area or breeders, productions in terms of quantity and the monetary value.
